Hello.
That's funny about the cows and horse, I knew the place would fall apart after I left. We don't get to watch conference till the 30 and 31 of October. We have a pretty good ward so we don't have to do much. President Poulsen came to our ward yesterday but I didn't get to talk to him much.
The baptism was good , but other than that the week wasn't very good. They had Soweto Days or something this week, so every one had long weekend and there was some famous DJ playing at maponya mall which is in our area and right across the street from the chapel. So they have been blasting music non-stop. Then last night there was a soccer game between the Kaiser Chiefs and the Orlando Pirates, which are the two big teams around here so last night everyone was drinking and playing loud music . The weekends are usually bad because everyone gets drunk and stuff, but this whole week has been like that. Most of our appointments canceled or ditched out on us this week. So this week has been really hectic, but exciting. I'm probably going to be in this area for four and a half or six months, and my companion is probably leaving in three weeks. I went on exchanges this week with Elder White from Lehi, and tomorrow we are going on exchanges with the zone leaders. Ask Brady if he remembers an Elder Bakker. This week should be good we have some service projects planned and we are going to be fed a few times which is always nice. I can't think of anything you need to send me. Its nice to hear Michael won his game this week. But I'm out of time so I'll talk to you next week. Take Care. Elder Finlinson
